Basketball Recap: Booneville Takes a Loss

Booneville lost against Lamar back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Booneville Bearcats had to suffer through a 64-36 loss at the hands of the Lamar Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Warriors are ranked 16th).

Booneville's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Lamar, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-2.

As of now, neither Booneville nor Lamar have any future games scheduled.
