The Weiser Wolverines will face off against the Ontario Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ontario took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Weiser, who comes in off a win.
Weiser's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over New Plymouth. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Weiser got a great performance from Brody Bittick as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Bittick also tossed a walk, which is notable because the Wolverines are 4-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-4 otherwise.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Willy Jepsen, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eric Ramirez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Ontario was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 13-2 to Umatilla.
Ontario saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Declann Webster, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Tristan Petty also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Weiser's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ontario, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Weiser came out on top in a nail-biter against Ontario in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, sneaking past 8-6. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
