Soccer Game Preview: Terrell vs. Kaufman

The Terrell Tigers will head out to face off against the Kaufman Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Terrell came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Midlothian, falling 4-0. Terrell have struggled against Midlothian recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Kaufman's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Their defense stepped up to hand Crandall a 1-0 shutout. Given Kaufman's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 192nd, while Crandall are ranked 527th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kaufman's victory bumped their record up to 12-6-5. As for Terrell, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-1.
