Softball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington fell victim to Eatonville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Cruisers. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Washington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stevie-Rae Garcia Zamora, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Eatonville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Washington is set to face off against their familiar foe Clover Park at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eatonville will square off against rival Steilacoom at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
