Soccer Game Preview: West Brook vs. Beaumont United

The West Brook Bruins will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Beaumont United Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

West Brook is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Barbers Hill on Monday. West Brook and Barbers Hill finished up their game with a 1-1 draw.

West Brook's goal came courtesy of Rondell Malbrough, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Beaumont United, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They never let Nederland onto the board and left with a 1-0 win on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Timberwolves as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

With that draw, West Brook's record moves to 4-5-1. As for Beaumont United, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

West Brook took their victory against Beaumont United in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Does West Brook have another victory up their sleeve, or will Beaumont United turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
