Soccer Recap: Conneaut Area Comes Up Short at Home Against Slippery Rock

Conneaut Area unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Slippery Rock Rockets by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Conneaut Area couldn't quite close it out.

Coming up, Conneaut Area will host Hickory at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Slippery Rock, they will head out to take on Sharpsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
