Basketball Game Preview: Brazosport Exporters vs. El Campo Ricebirds

Two dominant guards in Deja El-Amin and Riannah Miles are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Brazosport Exporters will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the El Campo Ricebirds at 6:30 p.m. El Campo took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Brazosport, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, everything went Brazosport's way against Sweeny as Brazosport made off with a 73-51 win. The Exporters have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, El Campo was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 52-51 to Bay City. The Ricebirds have struggled against the Blackcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

El Campo's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Brazosport, their victory bumped their record up to 14-12.

Brazosport came up short against El Campo when the teams last played on January 3rd, falling 73-66. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Miles, who shot 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 boards.
