Soccer Game Preview: South Garner vs. Southeast Raleigh

South Garner is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Southeast Raleigh a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The South Garner Titans will look to defend their home pitch against the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Thursday, South Garner didn't have quite enough to beat Triton and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh fell victim to Cleveland and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 6-0.

South Garner's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Southeast Raleigh, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything went South Garner's way against Southeast Raleigh when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as South Garner made off with a 4-0 win. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
