Bonneville hadn't done well against Blackfoot recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bonneville Bees put the hurt on the Blackfoot Broncos with a sharp 80-58 win. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 71-48 win last Thursday.

Blackfoot's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Austin Arave, who posted 28 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Lawrence Cousineau, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

Bonneville's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points over those games. As for Blackfoot, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.

Bonneville will challenge Middleton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Middleton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games. Blackfoot does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
