South Sevier strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Emery Spartans 41-21. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 48-41 defeat the last time these two teams met.

South Sevier's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bridger Bradshaw, who threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. Hudson Flinders helped Bradshaw out on the ground, picking up 99 receiving yards and one TD, while also rushing for 53 yards.

South Sevier didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Rayce Freeman, Krew Redd, and Hudson Smith picked up one apiece.

South Sevier's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Emery, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. South Sevier will face off against Rich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Rebels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.38 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Emery, they will square off against San Juan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
