Basketball Recap: Green Bay Preble Comes Up Short

Green Bay Preble lost against De Pere back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Green Bay Preble Hornets took a blow against the De Pere Redbirds, falling 68-34. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while the Redbirds are ranked 31st).

Green Bay Preble's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for De Pere, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Coming up, Green Bay Preble will challenge Sheboygan North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. De Pere does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
