Basketball Game Preview: Harvest Christian vs. Edinburg Bobcats

Harvest Christian is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Harlingen just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 63-55 to the Cardinals.

Veterans Memorial typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Edinburg proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 40-35 win over the Chargers. The victory was familiar territory for the Bobcats who have now won three games in a row.

Edinburg's win came from a few key players Harvest Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Makayla Olvera, who posted two points along with 11 boards and four blocks. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Trevino, who earned nine points and three steals.

Edinburg is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for Harvest Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 16-3.
