Providence Day extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Zaid Lott. The Chargers breezed past the Christ School Greenies to the tune of 71-0 on Friday with plenty of help from Lott, who threw for 225 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 30 yards. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.

Providence Day's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Griff Galloway and Jacob Ahmadivarji, who each picked up 0.5 sacks apiece. Providence Day received some extra help from JT Swinson, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Providence Day's record now sits at 7-0. As for Christ School, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Coming up, Providence Day will welcome Charlotte Latin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Chargers 14.3, the Hawks 8.9) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Christ School, they will head out to take on Rabun Gap-Nacoochee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Greenies will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests.
