Basketball Recap: Winder-Barrow Comes Up Short

Winder-Barrow lost against Jackson County back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs took a blow against the Jackson County Panthers, falling 63-27. While losing is never fun, the Bulldoggs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 375th, while the Panthers are ranked 180th).

Winder-Barrow has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season. As for Jackson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Winder-Barrow nor Jackson County have any future games scheduled.
