Basketball Recap: Herrin Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Herrin and Marion squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Herrin had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 74-45 loss at the hands of the Marion Wildcats. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Herrin's loss dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Marion, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Herrin nor Marion have any future games scheduled.
