Basketball Recap: Bremond Piles Up the Points Against Somerville

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mumford, Bremond was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed by the Somerville Yeguas to the tune of 75-4. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Bremond has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 40.3 points. As for Somerville, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Bremond Tigers face off against the Burton Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Bremond has won three straight at home, while Burton won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Somerville, they will challenge Mumford at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Mumford will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Somerville surely won't give up without a fight.
