Walter Johnson is a perfect 3-0 against Kennedy since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wildcats will square off against the Cavaliers at 12:45 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Walter Johnson comes in on six and Kennedy on ten.

Walter Johnson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Friday. They won by a run and slipped past Urbana 7-6.

Shaun Rudick was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Zachary Roach was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Kennedy got the win against Blair on Sunday by a conclusive 15-8.

Kennedy's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Walter Johnson, their record is now 24-4.

Everything went Walter Johnson's way against Kennedy in their previous meeting back in March of 2019, as Walter Johnson made off with a 19-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
