Volleyball Recap: Las Vegas Wildcats vs. Silverado Skyhawks
Las Vegas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Silverado Skyhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.
Aaliyah Jones paced Las Vegas' offense, picking up 12 kills. Jones got some help from Millie Mangum and her 18 assists. Constanze Mangano controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Las Vegas' loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Silverado, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Las Vegas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Canyon Springs on the 3rd. As for Silverado, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Durango on the 30th.
