Basketball Recap: Richard Azu Key Part of a Team Effort in Hornets Win

After losing to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy the last time they met, Hampton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hampton Hornets enjoyed a cozy 56-40 victory over the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers on Thursday.

Hampton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Richard Azu, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was C J Geiger, who earned 14 points.

Hampton's record is now 12-13. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.

Hampton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-42 win against Woodland on the 8th. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-53 victory against Jones County on the 8th.
