It was a good run, but Newton-Conover unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Friday. They and the West Brunswick Trojans finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw. The result kept Newton-Conover happy, as they haven't lost a game since March 8th.

Newton-Conover's draw gives them a new season record of 10-4-2. As for West Brunswick, they moved theirs to 4-8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newton-Conover will take on Cape Fear Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
