Eastern is a perfect 6-0 against New Washington since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Musketeers will head out on the road to challenge the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Eastern and six for New Washington.

Eastern managed to slip by Silver Creek the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Musketeers lost 13-0 to the Dragons on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, New Washington didn't have quite enough to beat Lanesville on Wednesday and fell 6-4.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for New Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Everything went Eastern's way against New Washington in their previous matchup back in May of 2023, as Eastern made off with a 12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Musketeers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
