Volleyball Recap: McDonough Comes Up Short

McDonough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Berkmar Patriots. If the Warhawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Patriots when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

McDonough's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Berkmar, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

McDonough will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hampton at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Berkmar, they will square off against Peachtree Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Patriots' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
