Basketball Game Preview: Lee Ganders vs. Port Neches-Groves Indians

The Lee Ganders are taking a road trip to face off against the Port Neches-Groves Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lee has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 27.

Last Tuesday, Lee came up short against Sterling and fell 59-51. While losing is never fun, the Ganders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1118th, while the Rangers are ranked 456th).

Meanwhile, Port Neches-Groves was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to Beaumont United on the road by a 54-35 margin. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly 19 points.

Port Neches-Groves' loss dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Lee, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-27.

Things could have been worse for Lee, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-32 loss to Port Neches-Groves in their previous meeting back in January. Can Lee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
