Baseball Recap: Lexington's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Lexington came out on top against Winchester on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Minutemen took their matchup against the Red & Black 5-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Minutemen as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Winchester, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lexington will host Bridgewater-Raynham at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Minutemen are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Winchester, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Reading Memorial at 7:00 p.m. The Rockets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Red & Black surely won't give up without a fight.
