Basketball Recap: Vallejo Comes Up Short

Vallejo lost against American Canyon back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vallejo Redhawks lost to the American Canyon Wolves on the road by a 52-34 margin. The game marked the Redhawks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Vallejo dropped their record down to 6-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for American Canyon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-13 record this season.

Vallejo won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Saint Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Saint Mary's knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Vallejo likes a good challenge. As for American Canyon, they will face off against Justin-Siena at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
