Soccer Game Preview: Briggs vs. Marion Harding

The Briggs Bruins will face off against the Marion Harding Presidents at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Briggs fell victim to Westerville South and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Marion Harding didn't have quite enough to beat Mansfield Senior on Thursday and fell 2-1. The loss continues a trend for Marion Harding in their meetings with Mansfield Senior: they've now lost four in a row.

Briggs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-2. As for Marion Harding, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9-3.

Briggs came out on top in a nail-biter against Marion Harding in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Presidents turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
