Volleyball Game Preview: Nestucca Bobcats vs. Columbia Christian Knights

The Nestucca Bobcats will venture away from home to face off against the Columbia Christian Knights at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Nestucca will be strutting in after a victory while Columbia Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Nestucca made easy work of Knappa and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Loggers: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Columbia Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Clatskanie.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-8.

Columbia Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Nestucca, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.

Nestucca took their victory against Columbia Christian in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
