Soccer Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Douglas

On Wednesday, Mountain View faced Douglas in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Mountain View Mountain Lions fell just short of the Douglas Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Douglas, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Mountain View wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, an 8-0 loss against Mica Mountain on the 9th. Douglas has also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sahuarita on the 29th.
