Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Triopia/Virginia's Fourth in Last Five Outings

After losing to Calhoun the last time they met, Triopia/Virginia decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Trojans came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Trojans have beaten the Warriors on their court since September 17, 2019.

While Triopia/Virginia might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Calhoun scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21.

Addilynn Tracy paced Triopia/Virginia's offense, picking up six kills. Tracy got some help from Lucie Dion and her ten assists. Mylee Tracy controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Triopia/Virginia is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Calhoun, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Coming up, Triopia/Virginia will head out on the road to square off against Illini West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calhoun, they will take on Carrollton in a tournament on Friday.
