Softball Recap: Wilder Wildcats vs. Greenleaf Friends Academy Grizzlies
Wilder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 27-9 to the Greenleaf Friends Academy Grizzlies. D. Winchel was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of A. Scott, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
On Greenleaf Friends Academy's side, Connie Knight was a standout: she got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs.
