Basketball Game Preview: Monticello Buckaroo vs. Valley Buffalos

The Monticello Buckaroo will head out to face off against the Valley Buffalos at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Monticello is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Friday, Monticello ended up a good deal behind Bryce Valley and lost 53-35.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Milford by a score of 45-33 on Thursday.

Valley has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Monticello, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Monticello was dealt a bruising 55-19 defeat at the hands of Valley in their previous matchup back in January. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Monticello was down 33-11.
