Macon-East Montgomery Academy barely beat Coosa Valley Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights never let the Rebels get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. Considering the Knights have won nine games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Coosa Valley Academy, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-16.

Coming up, Macon-East Montgomery Academy will square off against Sparta Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in the Knights' favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while the Warriors have been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road.
