Hickory Grove Christian is a perfect 3-0 against Coastal Christian since November of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lions will square off against the Centurions at 7:00 p.m. Hickory Grove Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Coastal Christian will be coming in after a loss.

Hickory Grove Christian barely beat Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions put the hurt on the Stallions with a sharp 59-36 win on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Coastal Christian ended up a good deal behind Wilmington Christian Academy on Tuesday and lost 54-35. The Centurions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hickory Grove Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Coastal Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything came up roses for Hickory Grove Christian against Coastal Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 65-24 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
