Volleyball Game Preview: South Pasadena Tigers vs. La Canada Spartans

The South Pasadena Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the La Canada Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

South Pasadena saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Valencia by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, La Canada entered their match against San Marino on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. La Canada came up short against San Marino, falling 3-0. The Spartans just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-16.

South Pasadena has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. La Canada's loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Everything went South Pasadena's way against La Canada in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as South Pasadena made off with a 3-0 victory. Does South Pasadena have another victory up their sleeve, or will La Canada turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
