Basketball Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

Wilson was the 58-49 winner over North Mesquite when they last played one another back in November of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Wilson Wildcats had to suffer through a 54-18 loss at the hands of the North Mesquite Stallions. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Wilson's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8. As for North Mesquite, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Wilson will take on West Mesquite in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Mesquite and Samuell will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Samuell's defense has only allowed 27.4 points per game this season, so North Mesquite's offense will have their work cut out for them.
