Football Game Preview: Riverside Rams vs. Lakeside Eagles + How To Watch

The Riverside Rams will face off against the Lakeside Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeside took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Riverside, who comes in off a win.

Riverside is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Medical Lake for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won nine in a row.

Sean Trochta had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also caught one score. Marcus Oergel was in the mix as well, providing Riverside with two TDs.

Riverside didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Medical Lake to a completion percentage of just 40%. The Rams weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 50%.

Meanwhile, Lakeside was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to Freeman on the road by a 41-24 margin.

Riverside will have to keep a close watch on Noah Merrill and Tanner Cummings, a pair of players who had a big impact on Lakeside's prior game. Merrill picked up 132 receiving yards and one score, while Cummings threw for 180 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Lakeside now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
