Football Game Preview: Meigs County Tigers vs. Johnson County Longhorns + Official Tickets

The Meigs County Tigers will host the Johnson County Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meigs County will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

If Johnson County heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Meigs County took over last week. The Tigers managed a 14-10 victory over Roane County on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Johnson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against Unicoi County, falling 55-22.

Meigs County will need to focus on slowing down Jonathan 'Jack' Csillag, one of several Johnson County players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 85 receiving yards and one score, and also punched in one rushing score. Another player making a difference was Colton Grindstaff, who rushed for 94 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.

Meigs County's record is now 9-1. As for Johnson County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
