Baseball Recap: Loomis Chaffee School Takes a Loss

Loomis Chaffee School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-5 to the Avon Old Farms Beavers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pelicans have suffered since March 31st.

Loomis Chaffee School's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Avon Old Farms, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Loomis Chaffee School will take on rival Westminster School at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Avon Old Farms is set to face off against their familiar foe Taft School at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
