Byron Nelson lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Trinity, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Bobcat put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 38-13 win on Friday. With the Bobcat ahead 31-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Parker Almanza was his usual excellent self, throwing for 237 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also punching in one rushing score.

The victory got Byron Nelson back to even at 2-2. As for Trinity, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Coincidentally, Byron Nelson and Trinity will both be playing Timber Creek the next time they take the field. The Bobcat will host the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
