Baseball Recap: Durant Comes Up Short

Durant was the 7-0 winner over East Bay when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Durant fell 4-1 to East Bay on Wednesday.

Durant got a good showing from Tristan Macpherson, who kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Furthermore, Macpherson didn't allow a single hit, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February.

Durant's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for East Bay, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-8.

Durant didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-2 victory against Brandon on the 25th. As for East Bay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-1 loss against Sumner on the 25th.
