Basketball Recap: Bluefield Comes Up Short

Bluefield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. James Sharks.

Bluefield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. James, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Bluefield will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Graham at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for St. James, they and Gate City will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
