Lighthouse Christian's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Varsity Opponent a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Chargers have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Braxton Goswick was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Jacob Herbert was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Lighthouse Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .577. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Lighthouse Christian's victory bumped their record up to 25-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lighthouse Christian will take on St. Louis HomeSchool P in a tournament on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will face off against Hubbard on Wednesday.
