After flying high against Walnut Ridge last Friday, Rivercrest came back down to earth. The Rivercrest Colts took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Osceola Seminoles on Friday. The loss put an end to the Colts' undefeated start to the season.
Rivercrest's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cavonta Washington, who rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 110 yards on 12 of 20 attempts.
