Middletown is a perfect 9-0 against Delcastle Technical since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Cavaliers will head out to take on the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Middletown is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Caravel Academy just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Buccaneers.

Meanwhile, Delcastle Technical didn't have quite enough to beat Concord on Friday and fell 3-2. The Cougars have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Delcastle Technical's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Middletown took their win against Delcastle Technical in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
