Two dominant signal callers in Jordan Turner and Jordan Blackmon are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Bethesda Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Dillon Christian likes a good challenge.
Bethesda Academy's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 50-0 win over Beaufort Academy. Fans of the Blazers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
It was another big night for Ralo Wesley, who picked up 88 receiving yards and three TDs. Malachi Morris got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Bethesda Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ka'Mond Young and Isaiah Jones. Jones is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least six every time he's taken the field this season. Bethesda Academy received some extra help from Jones, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Bethesda Academy, racking up 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Morris, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Dillon Christian on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 39-13 margin over St. John's Christian Academy. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Warriors had established a 23-point advantage.
Bethesda Academy better keep an eye on R Bracey. He was instrumental in Dillon Christian's win, picking up 71 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 41 yards.
Dillon Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 264 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 150 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.
Bethesda Academy pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 37.5 points thus far. As for Dillon Christian, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Bethesda Academy has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 187.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Dillon Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 193.7 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Bethesda Academy against Dillon Christian when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 35-6 victory. In that contest, the Blazers amassed a halftime lead of 29-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
