Volleyball Recap: Savio Comes Up Short

Savio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the TMI-Episcopal Panthers, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-14.

Savio's loss dropped their record down to 13-16-2. As for TMI-Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Savio will face off against rival Incarnate Word at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, TMI-Episcopal is set to challenge their familiar foe Antonian Prep at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
