Softball Recap: Parish Hill Pirates vs. Academy of International Studies Dragons

Parish Hill's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Academy of International Studies Dragons by a score of 11-6. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

Julie Millerd was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Parish Hill got a massive performance out of Allison Butts, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Butts has been hot recently, having posted three or more stolen bases the last three times she's played.
