Basketball Recap: Waverly Central Comes Up Short

Waverly Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 37-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Camden Central Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-43 last Friday.

Waverly Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Camden Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Waverly Central has already played their next match, a 52-45 victory against Perry County on the 4th. As for Camden Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 49-23 win against Harpeth on the 4th.
