Baseball Recap: Southern Lee Comes Up Short

Southern Lee came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-1 to the Pinecrest Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-2 loss back in March.

Southern Lee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Harrington, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Southern Lee's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Pinecrest, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Southern Lee nor Pinecrest have any future games scheduled.
