Softball Recap: Donna Comes Up Short

Donna fell victim to Harlingen South and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 19-0. The Redskins have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Donna's loss dropped their record down to 3-18-1. As for Harlingen South, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Donna will take on rival Edcouch-Elsa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harlingen South is set to face off against their familiar foe Porter at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hawks 1.4, the Cowboys 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
